Hi bigsis
welcome to the board.
All I can say is the same as Joel. Let your sis know that you're there for her no matter what. Anything to the effect of telling her she is wrong might just push her further in the opposite direction.
(((hugs)))
i'm new to this site and forum so i'm not sure i'm in the right place.
my sister married a j.w.
and now they have a baby.

my name is todd and i am new to this forum.
i just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.
i am from salt lake city, utah and i have been free from the wtbts since 1998. i wanted to also see if there are any ex-jw's in utah that might want to chat.
Hi Todd
Welcome!!
I'm not from Utah and not ex-jw, but I'll talk to anybody
The other problem with asbo's - genuine ones such as the ultimate neighbours from hell - is that if they are subject to exclusion orders or evicted by their landlord, it just moves the problem onto some other poor souls doorstep.
(Now that gives me an idea.... we could relocate them all to the Houses of Parliament or Downing Street... )
Bottom line is that it's the asbo's actual behaviour which needs addressing alongside the imposition of punishment otherwise nothing gets solved at all.
hi, i am a friend of dedpoet, i think he may have posted about me occasionally, and he has kindly allowed me to join the forum from his pc as i do not have internet access at home.
i have known trev (dedpoet) since he first joined the same congregation as me 14 years ago, and we have always been friends.
i was very sad when he left us some years ago, but have maintained contact with him, something that has got me in trouble with the elders just lately now he is disassociated.
Welcome to the board Linda.
Don't be afraid to explore or to ask questions.
i miss 2 days on here and feel like i'm completely out of the loop.
i've been really sick and in a rough state of mind with everything in my life going down the drain, but i'm hanging in there best i can.
i miss you all; hopefully tomorrow i'll feel a little better and will read and post some more.
Hope you're back on top form soon cygnus.
Keep on talking and hanging on!
And try get some sleep - surprising what a difference it makes!!
dear ladies,.
as you know there was a wonderful regular healing vigil for me last night and, indeed, you likely took part in it yourselves.
this is just to let you both know that you are constantly in my thoughts - and everyone else's here - regarding your own battles with breast cancer.

with all the information we have nowadays, out of sheer curiousity, do any of you know your blood type?
for some, i know the blood-issue is a touchy subject, but it's interesting to know it.
you'd be surprised especially when the case of an rh-negative mother may give birth to an rh-positive child.
Thanks for the info Scully.
I'm A neg and my mum was too. I remember her telling me that she'd had to carry a card while she was pregnant indicating that she was A neg in case of an emergency. My older sister, also A neg had to have injections when she had her children.
I'm banned from donating as my BP is on the low side so might faint. Being a rare type though, I think they might take it in an extreme emergency.
some say it's the beatles.
they certainly did leave their mark on the world.
Queen.
